IBSCO conforms its ball thrust designs to special lubrication needs in a state-of-the-art Class 100 Clean Room, certified annually to ISO 14644-1 and ISO 14644-2. The Clean Room enhances ball thrust bearing performance with a full range of relubrication options, including centrifuged oil for low torque applications and vacuum impregnation to prevent leaching of oil from the lubricant. IBSCO uses precision grease packing equipment to control the level of fill within 0.5mg. if specified. Oil and grease plating techniques are used to greatly lower the torque values of traditionally grease-packed or oil-lubricated bearings.
