Correct lubrication plays a major role in both bearing performance and system reliability. That's why IBSCO commits significant resources to relubrication services, including a Class 100 Clean Room relubrication facility that leads the bearing industry in technology. The Clean Room Relubrication Center at IBSCO is class 100, Factory Authorized by both NHBB and NMB, and is certified annually to ISO 14644-1 and ISO 14644-2.

IBSCO customers enjoy a wide range of relubrication options. Centrifuged oil relubrication removes excess oil, leaving a thin film that is ideal for low torque applications. Vacuum impregnation forces lubricant into the pores of the retainer, creating an oil reservoir. Using this method in a greased bearing prevents the cage material from leaching oil from the lubricant. IBSCO uses precision grease packing equipment to control the level of fill within 0.5mg. if specified. Oil and grease plating techniques are used to greatly lower torque values of traditionally grease-packed or oil-lubricated bearings. The barrier coating process will limit the migration of oil from the bearing.
